Martin Nygård Jørgensen is a well esteemed arranger and orchestrator working intensively with orchestras, big bands, choirs and numerous great artists. Over the past ten years he has made hundreds of arrangements for concerts, TV productions and recording sessions – more than half of them being broadcasted on television and radio. This has provided Martin with an extraordinary experience and knowledge in adding new layers and orchestral magic to well-known music and creating unique moments for the artist, the orchestra and finally: the audience.

 

Martin has worked on many large-scale projects such as: TV Christmas shows broadcasted to millions of people in the Nordic countries, concerts with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra playing pop and rock at the Royal Albert Hall, numerous large-scale outdoor concerts and special events such as a TV show celebrating the 50 years birthday of the Danish Crown Prince Frederik.

Over the years Martin Nygård Jørgensen has made several arrangements for both classical and more modern theatrical performances played by the Royal Danish Orchestra at the Royal Danish Theatre.

 

Martin recently worked as an orchestrator on the critically acclaimed Danish film ‘Os der lever’ which was – as a very special feature – premiered with a live symphony orchestra.

 

He is a master in orchestration and a specialist in adapting film scores for concert performances as well as working with composers and directors to unfold their ideas with an orchestra.
